Betty Jo Sherrod Blake, 90, of Ashland, Kentucky formerly of Shamrock died Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Ashland, Kentucky.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Ken Baxter, officiating. Burial will follow in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Betty was born July 6, 1927 in Shamrock to Lonnie and Irma Burks. She had been a resident of Ashland, Kentucky since 1971 and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John Sherrod in 2002 and her second husband, Robert Blake in 2006.
Survivors include a son, Mitchell Sherrod and wife Susan of Greenup, Kentucky; a daughter, Melissa Rackley of Pearland, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Rodney Sherrod of Versailles, Kentucky, Ashlyn Beard of Pearland, Texas, and Justin Rackley of Dallas; 8 great granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the Meals on Wheels c/o Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital / 1000 Ashland Drive / Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
