Benito Lopez-Madrid's Obituary
Benito Lopez-Madrid, 62, of Wheeler, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Pampa, Texas.
Services will be held 11:00 am on Friday, February 8, 2019 in the Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with Abel Lomas, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Benito was born November 28, 1956 in Jimenez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Benito and Simona Madrid Lopez. He married Gloria Alma Cano in January 1975 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He had been a resident of Wheeler since 1983. He had worked in the oilfield and was working at a dairy farm at the time of his passing. He loved his kids, grandkids, and his dogs. He was a loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Lopez of Wheeler; 3 sons, Carlos Lopez of Denver, Colorado, Oscar Lopez of Wheeler and Omar Lopez of Amarillo; a daughter, Nancy Hernandez of Hobbs, New Mexico; 3 brothers, Antonio Lopez of Wheeler, Rafael Lopez, and Manuel Lopez both of Mexico; a sister, Alicia Lopez of Wheeler; and 7 grandchildren.
