So sorry to hear about Aunt Barb. She was the sweetest, nicest lady you would ever know. She had the cutest giggle! Although Barbie & my uncle divorced shortly after II married, she was always my aunt. My family continued claiming her as kin. I wish I had been able to go to her funeral. But I have been in the hospital & nursing home & am still recovering. I may not have been able to attend the funeral, but I thought of her & her family after I found out about her passing. I loved my Aunt Barbie. And wish I had been able to see her more after I moved from the area. Love to all Barb's family. Melody Burch Sherrell

I have been friends with Barbara for over 50 years and neighbor for over 21 years....I loved her more than I can put into words...she was a very sweet and kind lady...RIP my dear friend...you are missed so much....love you

Barbara was a sweet, friendly lady and I always enjoyed being helped by her at the p.o.
I remember her as a younger sister of one of my classmates, Betty Lou. We all grew up together at Wheeler. My prayers for the family.

I lost one of my best friends yesterday. We started in first grade 61 years ago and we have been friends ever since. We talked on the phone fairly often, and she will be missed greatly. Barbara was one of the sweetest, most loving, most loyal person, I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was beautiful on the inside and out. My last conversation was Monday Nov,15, the day after my 80th birthday, she was looking forward to her 80th.
She will be missed, but, she is happy and healthy now with our Lord, and all her family that went before her. I loved her. Katherine Underwood

Barbara and I were best friends for 70 plus years! She was like a sister to me! I will miss her dearly! I will especially miss her laugh! We always found something to laugh about! We were looking forward to turning 80 next year! I once told her we just talk about our aches and pains! Then I said Oh we are old and we both laughed! My condolences to her loved ones!
