Barbara Jean Lindsey, 78, of Memphis died Monday, December 14, 2020 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Masks are highly encouraged.
Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Barbara was born July 29, 1942 in Mineral Wells to Grady and Thelma Simpson. She married Jimmy Lindsey on November 14, 1959 in Memphis. She had been a resident of Memphis since she was 10. She loved traveling to Branson, her cats and dogs, and lived to shop. Her grandkids were her life and she loved them all very much. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry Keith Simpson.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jimmy Lindsey of Memphis; her sons, Terry Lindsey and wife Ronda and Tony Lindsey and wife Jennifer all of Memphis; her grandchildren, Samantha Lindsey of Crane, Jami Lindsey of Fort Worth, Jade Lindsey of Memphis, and Jill Lindsey of Amarillo; and a host of special friends.
The family request memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church in Memphis or Hall County EMS.
