CLAUDE SERVICES - 2:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2012 in the First United Methodist Church in Claude with Rev. Dan Carter, Pastor, officiating. INTERMENT- Claude Cemetery in Claude. Arrangements are by Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude. Mrs. Cobb was born September 1, 1925 in Claude to M.M. & Sue Pyeatt Kerr. She married Harry Monroe “Roe“ Cobb on September 17, 1952 in Clovis, NM. She had been a secretary for the Soil Conservation District prior to her retirement. She was also involved and volunteered with the Special Olympics. She had been a lifetime resident of Claude and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her husband on July 7, 1995; a sister, Mary Jane Osborn; 2 brothers, Jack and Billy Joe Kerr. SURVIVORS - her son, Mark Cobb of Amarillo; 3 nephews, Jerry Osborn and wife Lou of Claude, Rick Osborn of Amarillo, and Ronald Kerr and wife Donna of Amarillo; and several great nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be sent to Claude Cemetery Association or Special Olympics. The family will be at 5050 Highway 207 South of Claude.
