ROSARY- will be said 10:00 am Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis.
MASS – will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Deacon John Nino, as the celebrant.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.

Mrs. Salinas was born October 30, 1935 in San Vincente, Mexico to Roberto and Maria Teresa Benavides. She married Antonio “Tony” Salinas on December 27, 1953 in Edinburg. She had been a resident of Memphis most of her life and volunteered as a cook for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis where she was a member of the Ladies of Guadalupe.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; and her husband November 4, 2003.
SURVIVORS- 3 sons, Antonio Salinas, Jr. of Virginia, Pedro “Pete” Salinas of Memphis, and Gerardo “Jerry” Salinas of Abliene; a daughter, Maria Teresa “Terry” Thompson of Runaway Bay; 4 brothers, Oziel Benavides of California, Romeo Benavides of Brownsville, Beto Benavides and Gil Benavides both of California; 2 sisters, Armida Benavides of McAllen and Silvia Butterick of California; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
