Apolinar Rodriguez, 61, of Amarillo, died on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Amarillo.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Fr. Nicholas Gerber, as the celebrant. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Apolinar was born on January 8, 1958 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Primitivo and Esther Sanchez Rodriguez. He married Carmen Delia Gonzalez on August 30, 1989 in Miami, Florida. He had been a resident of Memphis from 1990-1996 before moving to Amarillo in 1996. He was a carpenter and liked to compose music.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Rodriguez of Amarillo; his mother, Esther Rodriguez of Memphis; a daughter, Kassandra Nieto of Amarillo; a step son, Rigoberto Gonzalez of Amarillo; two step daughters, Xenia Garcia of Miami, Florida and Aixel Miranda of Amarillo; 4 brothers, Fernando Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, and Jose Rodriguez all of Memphis; 3 sisters, Francisca Maldonado of Houston, Alicia Rodriguez of San Antonio, and Berta Ramos of Memphis; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild..
