Bevere Ann (Brown) Booth was born on April 23, 1956, in Great Bend, OR, to James and Ona (Pound) Brown. She was one of ten children. Ann went to grade school in Hedley before her family moved to Buffalo, MO, where she spent most of her childhood. She later moved to Memphis, TX, to marry her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Paul Booth, on December 5, 1976, in Memphis. She has been a Hall County resident ever since. Ann was the general manager of Golden Chick in Childress for over 22 years.
Ann enjoyed cooking and was always trying new recipes. She especially loved baking with her grandchildren, constantly making candy and other sweet treats for them. Her world revolved around her grandchildren, and she was guaranteed to be in the stands for every sporting event and activity they were involved in. One of Ann’s biggest hobbies was canning. She did not limit herself to the garden variety vegetables, she was always trying new things with her most recent endeavor being canning pancake batter. Ann was a woman of faith and loved reading her Bible. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Memphis.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy in 2022; three brothers, Gary Flynn, Johnny Brown, and Tom Brown; and her sister, Cindy Welch.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Booth of Memphis; three daughters, Lisa and Janita Booth of Memphis and Jennifer Benedict of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two brothers, Richard Brown of AR, and Steve Brown of Sundown, TX; three sisters, Linda Perry of Killeen, TX, Nancy Bagby of Perryton, and Gina Garcia of Andrews, TX; 13 grandchildren, Mary, Isaac, Alissa, Jordon, Elijah, Zachary, Madison, Joshua, Isaiah, Kyler, Emily, Lucas, and Matiana and McKay; 6 great-grandchildren, Riley, Gracie, Timothy, Mateo, Jackson, and (soon to be) Damian; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
