Angie was born on December 28, 1966 to Millie (Gilmer) and James Williams in Wheeler, TX. In 1985, Angie met Jesse in Shamrock, TX. They were married on August 22, 1987 in Wheeler. Angie and Jesse went on to have two children, Jamie and Terra. Angie was an exceptional wife and mother and cared deeply for everyone around her. She was always the first to offer help and loved taking care of anyone in need. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew she was the star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her…That is until she had grandchildren. She was an amazing mother and an extraordinary grandmother who loved her grandkids with all her heart. It would be wrong to say that Angie lost her battle, because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Angie stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Angie. Just because she is no longer here doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Millie Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Taylor of Wheeler; son, Jamie Taylor; grandson, Adden and granddaughter Ryleigh; daughter, Terra Barr and her husband, Houston; grandson, Milo; and her sister, Lorrie Erwin.
