Andrea Faye Bachman Vaughan's Obituary
Andrea Faye Bachman Vaughan, lovingly known as Andi, was born on July 31, 1956, in Waurika, Oklahoma and passed peacefully to her heavenly home on April 12, 2026 in Amarillo.
Andi leaves behind her beloved husband of 20 years, Randy Vaughan; her brother, Ken Bachman and sister-in-law Becky; her sister, Ramona Woodrum and brother-in-law Lee; four grandchildren whom she loved dearly and a son. She also leaves behind four nieces, Tyra, Robyn, Sarah, and Laura; Five nephews, Brandon, Jay, Robert III, Hunter, and Seth; along with eight great-nieces and nephews and ten great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Bachman; her first husband, Steve Alesiani; her second husband, Chris Eigenmann III; and her sister, Kimberly Shannon.
Though small in stature, Andi had a heart the size of Texas. She earned her nursing degree from Clarendon College in 1979 and enjoyed a long and compassionate career in nursing. She showed kindness, empathy, and genuine care to every patient she encountered and was deeply loved and respected by her colleagues.
Andi had many creative talents and passions. She loved making beautiful quilts and was a proud member of Women Across America Quilting Society. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and sewing, always creating something meaningful for those she loved.
A devoted animal lover, Andi was a proud “fur mom” to many dogs and cats throughout her lifetime. She and Randy shared a deep love for animals that extended beyond their home, often helping feral cats in their neighborhood by having them spayed or neutered, paying the cost of each one.
Andi also treasured time spent with family and friends. She hosted many Christmas dinners in her home, always serving as a gracious, attentive, and loving hostess who made everyone feel welcome.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2026, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Memphis Community Center in Memphis, Texas. All are invited to attend and share memories celebrating Andi’s life and the love she gave so freely to others.
