Andrea "Andi" Covington Davis' Obituary
Andrea “Andi” Covington Davis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas. She was 75 years old. Andi’s life was a testament to love, devotion, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Born on April 26, 1949, Andrea lived a life full of compassion and dedication to her family. She was a cherished mother to her children, Brian and Candy Gibbs of Amarillo, Texas; Neal and Jodi Gibbs of Plano, Texas; and Leslie and John Walthall of Seattle, Washington. Her warm spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of their lives.
Andi was also a doting grandmother to Tanner Gibbs, Jake Gibbs, Madison Gibbs, Sydney Gibbs, Samantha Gibbs, Haleigh Walthall, and Riley Walthall. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Bracen Gibbs, Bayler Gibbs, Blayze Gibbs, and Birdie Gibbs, who brought immense joy to her later years. Andi had a love for animals and is preceded by her beloved dog Bailey.
She is survived by her loving brother, Keith Covington, and his wife, Gwen, of Orem, Utah. Andi's family was her pride and joy, and she always found happiness in their accomplishments and milestones.
Andi loved her job of many years as a dispatcher for the Casper, Wyoming Police Department. She will be remembered for her kindness, her ability to bring people together, and her infectious enthusiasm for life. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with her.
Andi Covington Davis leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Her life was a gift, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Andrea’s life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Robertson Funeral Directors Saints' Roost Chapel, Clarendon, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Andi’s honor to Hope Choice of Amarillo or the charity of your choice.
