McLEAN SERVICES - Graveside services at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2009 in Alanreed Cemetery with Rev. Thacker Haynes, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating. INTERMENT - Alanreed Cemetery. Arrangements - Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Mr. Turner was born January 16, 1924 in McLean to Amos Ed Turner Sr. and Mary Katherine Sharp Turner. He had lived in the McLean & Alanreed area most of his life. He married Eula Jo Harvey on January 16 in McLean. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2002. He was a veteran of the US Army and had been a cowboy most of his life. He was a Baptist. SURVIVORS - one daughter, Kathy Kennedy of Bangor, Pennsylvania; three step-children, Judy Strange, Sharon Whited, Fred Smith; one sister, Auna Barnes of Fritch; 3 brothers, Ivan Turner, Joe Turner, and Vernon Turner all of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren, Tanner Kennedy and T.
