Alma Jean Paschall, 96, of Wellington, Texas died Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Wellington, Texas.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2023 in North Fairview Cemetery in Wellington with Tom Anderson, officiating.
If in the event of inclement weather, services will be held at Robertson Funeral Directors Saints' Roost Chapel in Clarendon.
Viewing will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at the funeral home with the family receiving friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Alma Jean was born June 14, 1926 in Collingsworth County, Texas to Lewis and Margaret Christine Schoonover Green. She was a 1944 graduate of Samnorwood High School. She married Macon William "Ike" Paschall, Jr. on April 17, 1948 in Wellington. She had been a resident of Wellington and Collingsworth County most of her life where she had worked as a nurse prior to her retirement. Her most favorite hobby was taking care of cows. She was a member of the Wellington Church of Christ and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1991; a brother, W.L. Green; and a granddaughter, Tina Futter.
Survivors include her sons, Max Paschall and wife Bonnie of Howardwick and Rex Paschall and wife Victoria of Dallas; her daughter, Christine Palmer of Abilene; her brother, Donald Green of Winter Park, Florida; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family request memorials be sent to Kindred Hospice.
