Alisha was born November 30, 1942 in Michigan to Hector and Betty Van Oppens. She married George Becci on January 28, 1982 in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. Alisha had been a resident of Memphis since 1983 where her and George owned and operated Woodcrafts by George. The store welcomed many travelers, pets, and made lifelong customers. She was a animal lover and always helped any animal in need.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her father; and her husband on November 7, 2011.
SURVIVORS – her mother, Betty Van Oppens of Michigan; a son, John Brede of Houston; a daughter, Denise Wargo of Houston; a brother, Frank Van Oppens of Michigan; a sister, Kathy Morrison of Michigan; a granddaughter, Ashley Wargo; and a great grandson, Nathan Genin.
