Alfred James "Jim" Wray's Obituary
Services will be Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Eleventh St. Baptist Church, Shamrock, with Glen Switzer, officiating. INTERMENT- Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Jim Wray was born November 21, 1928 in Bristow, OK to William and Lulu McLean Wray. Jim attended Pine Hill School and had lived in Shamrock most of his life.. He loved to fish, tell stories and spend time with his family and was the last of twelve brothers and sisters. Mr. Wray worked as a Production Supt. for Sidwell Oil and Gas and he served in the US Army. Mr. Wray married Florene Stroud on September 28, 1954 in Clovis NM.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents, his wife, 5 brothers, 6 sisters, and 2 girls & 1 boy who died as infants.. SURVIVORS: 1 Son – Keith Wray & Laura – Amarillo 5 Grandchildren
