Adolfo Morquecho, 97, of Memphis died Friday, January 27, 2023 in Childress.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Father John Sangabathini, as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Adolfo was born December 3, 1925 in Comfort, Texas to Estevan and Ramona Towns Morquecho. He married Augustina Chavez in 1943. He had been a resident of Hall County for 57 years, where he was a farmer and worked at the Lesley Cotton Gin. He loved farming and driving a tractor. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 3 sons; 4 daughters; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and 3 grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Ruben Morquecho of Memphis; 3 daughters, Lidia Gonzalez, Janie Narvaez, and Linda Lopez all of Memphis; a brother, Mike Morquecho of Mason; 2 sisters, Carolina Menchaca and Beverly Morquecho both of Mason; 33 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren; and 30 great great grandchildren.
