Ada May Maddox, 97, of Memphis died Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Memphis.
Services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Robertson Funeral Directors in Memphis.

Ada was born on August 29, 1920 in Memphis to John Berl Evans and Ada Vestine Cole Evans. She married Oscar Maddox Sr. on October 18, 1936 in Memphis. She was life-long resident of Memphis, where she attended the First Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 brothers John Berl Evans Jr., J.D. Evans, Cecil Evans, Edward Earl Evans, and Bobby Evans; 3 sisters Rosa Lee Evans, Bessie Marie Arterburn, and Winnie Lucille Bloxom;
Survivors include her 3 sons Oscar Maddox Jr. and wife Willie Mae, Bobby Jack Maddox and wife Linda, Robert Maddox and wife Camilla, all of Memphis; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be sent to a charity of your choosing.
