Abbaca Lina Cabrera, 46, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Amarillo.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas.
Cremation and arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Abbaca was born on November 14, 1979, in Amarillo, Texas, to Gabriel and Olga Casas Garza. She married the love of her life, Juan Carlos Cabrera, on June 6, 2010, in Amarillo, where she remained a lifelong resident.
Abbaca was a vibrant and joyful spirit who brought light and laughter wherever she went. She had a deep love for plants and gardening, and she found great joy in caring for them. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She loved taking pictures to capture memories, listening to music—especially Spanish music—and embracing life with energy and enthusiasm. Known for her fun-loving nature, Abbaca was truly the life of the party and cherished by all who knew her. She attended Power Church and Jubilee Apostolic Church in Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Placido and Genoveva Casas; her paternal grandparents, Andres and Dolores Garza; her brother, Gabriel Garza, Jr.; and her beloved dogs, Bruno, Lala, Chuey, and Scrappy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Juan Carlos Cabrera of Amarillo; her loving parents, Gabriel and Olga Garza of Amarillo; her children, Ismael Cabrera, Juan Carlos Amillion Cabrera, John Angel Cabrera, and Lexie Rodriguez, all of Amarillo; four cherished grandchildren, with one more expected; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Abbaca will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
