We are saddened at the passing of Billy Joe. He and I along with his brother, Donald Gene, spent a lot of summers at the Burdine farm where he resided the last years of his life. Joe was a hard worker and we had lots of fun as young boys (eventually men) helping our grandparents with their farming business. Our Granddad, Master Carroll Burdine, taught all three of us how to work and how to love the Lord Jesus Christ. Joe was always positive and never had a harsh word to say about anyone. I know you will miss him but remember that the grace of God will sustain you during this time of grief. We pray that God will give you peace and comfort at this time of the loss of one you loved dearly. God bless you.
