Terry "Blue" Coomer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Terry "Blue" Coomer, 48, of Chickasha, Oklahoma died Saturday, July 16, 2022. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with Erron Mercer, officiating. Local arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler. Blue was born December 28, 1973 in Killeen, Texas to Timmy Eugene Coomer and Lanette Lewis. He had been a resident of Chickasha for several years and had worked in the oil and gas industry starting as a welder's assistant and later a side boom operator. Blue was mechanically inclined, talented at doing boat upholstery, and could fix anything that had wheels. He loved remote cars, motorcycles, big rigs, and boats. He loved music, going to the mountains, the lake, fishing, and skiing. He was very kind and had such a big heart for people. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Lewis. Survivors include his mother, Lanette Hastey and his step dad Ken of Wheeler; his father, Gene Coomer of Azle; his grandmother, Beverly Lewis of Wheeler; his son, Andrew Coomer of Wheeler; his daughter, Kayleigh Coomer of Oklahoma City; his wife, Mikki Line of Chickasha, Oklahoma and her children, Rylee Rose Parrott and Jack Davis Parrott; his sister, Katie Weatherly of Fairbanks, Alaska and his nephews, Jhea and Jett Weatherly; a step sister, Rheanna Hastey of Santa Fe, New Mexico; several half brothers, step brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Wheeler Cemetery Association or Cornerstone Church in Wheeler.
