Illa Kay Ramirez, 4, of Lubbock, TX passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Illa was born to Philip Ramirez and Trista Brooks Ramirez, both of Lubbock, TX on September 12, 2017. Though her time with us was all too brief, "Short Britches" could light up a room with her presence. Illa enjoyed performing her original dancing and singing shows for all. She loved all animals, outdoors, but most of all her family. Her favorite place in all the world was wherever we were all together. Known for her famous bear hugs, she was a joy to all who knew her. She will be missed by many. Illa is preceded in death by her grandpa - affectionally "Pop Pop", Craig Brooks. Survived by her momma, Trista, her daddy, Philip, She is also survived by her Gramma, Darla Brooks of Midland, TX; and her uncle "Bubba" of Lubbock, TX; as well as her great grandpa, Darrell Moore and many other extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2022 in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Cottie Tarbet, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
