Gladys was a dear friend of mine. She was always ready and eager to listen and talk and pray with me. We spent lots of time together while I lived in Clarendon. She was like a second Mother to me after I lost mine in 2016. We moved to Muleshoe in 2021 and I didn’t get to see Gladys much but we talked quite often on the phone. I feel like I lost one of my best friends but I know that she is so happy now. She is with Jon again and her little Katy dog and she’s gotten to meet Jesus face to face. I know I’ll get to see her again some day. I pray for all of you, that God will send comfort and peace. We will miss her. But I feel blessed to have been her friend.
Gladys was a beautiful soul. I met her at church and she always had that fabulous smile on her face. Her and I drank coffee and talked for hours about her life and the Lord. She helped me with my struggles in my life.
I remember the last time I went and visited Gladys we were chatting and when I left I forgot my phone. She couldn’t answer it because she didn’t know how to. A couple of hours later I went back to her apartment and she was so happy I was there to answer that thing. Her and I just laughed so hard about it.
I loved Gladys and she’ll be greatly missed on earth, but she’s singing 🎵 and rejoicing with our Lord Jesus Christ.
