Gilbert Knox Collins, Jr.

January 11, 1975 - September 18, 2020

Gilbert Knox Collins, Jr, 45, of White Deer passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, in Pampa. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Claude Church of Christ, located at 301 Hawkins Street in Claude. Cremation is entrusted to Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Gilbert was born on Jan. 11, 1975 in Marshall, Texas to Ana and Gilbert Collins. He graduated from Claude High School in 1993. He married Stacy Rene Thomas on Feb. 18, 1995 in Clarendon. They moved to White Deer in 1999. Gilbert worked as an electrician for the Mundy Company for several years, worked for Zachry and most recently for Austin Industries in Borger. Gilbert enjoyed fishing with his family and metal detecting with his dad. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Collins Sr.; and brothers, Gary and Gil. Survivors include his wife, Stacy of the home; son, Trenton and fiancée Ann Smith of Claude; daughters, Madison Collins and fiancé Zach McCord of Claude, Melanie Collins and boyfriend Blake Jones of White Deer and Malorie Collins of the home; his mother, Ana Collins of Claude; sisters Ana and husband Jackie Manning of Amarillo, Angie and husband Danny Gaines of Clarendon; and nieces and nephews.
