November 17, 1945 - October 7, 2021

Fidencio Garza Silva, 75, of Memphis died Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Memphis. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the Memphis Church of Christ with Mark Lance and Jim Dixon, officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Fidencio was born November 17, 1945 in Robstown, Texas to Joe and Alice Garza Silva. He married Adelfa Mungia on July 1, 1969 in Canyon, Texas. He had been a resident of Amarillo and Claude before moving to Memphis 3 years ago. He was a hard worker, where he worked in farming and ranching. He enjoyed yard work, a good joke, riding horses, and fishing. He was a true family man. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He loved all his grandkids and great grandkids, and had a nickname for all of them. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Adelfa Silva of Memphis; his sons, Larry Silva and wife Bronwyn of Washington, and Fidencio Silva, Jr. and wife Heather of Indiana; his daughters, Raquel Maldonado and husband Aurelio of Memphis, Ruby Luster and fiance Blake McBee of Amarillo and Judy Miller and husband Ray of Amarillo; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one on the way. The family request memorials be sent to Dove Creek Equine Rescue / 16201 Gordon-Cummings Rd / Canyon, TX 79015.
