Leota Banister, 84, of Claude died Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Claude. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with family members, officiating. Burial will follow in Citizens C Read Obituary
I have been out of touch with Leota for over 10 years. We purchased our 1st French Bulldog from her in 1993. She was open and honest with me about her breeding and I will always remember her for that. God Bless her and her family she leaves behind.

I helped Kenneth and Leota show French Bulldogs back in the 1980’s we had such fun. She and my Mom, Rachel Crowe, spoke often about Bostons and did some breeding together way back. Those were the days and they were such nice people. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Wish I had a chance to shared memories before she passed. God bless!
Aunt Leota was so sweet. I still remember when she became my Aunt she was 16 and I was 6. She was so beautiful and sweet. I remember when she baked a cake for my uncle’s birthday and couldn’t find her potholder until she started to cut the cake. She was so fun always loving me and making me feel special. She and Uncle Kennet lived in the Chamberlain school teachers house for the first year or so of their marriage They lived there when their son Dwight was born. My love for her will always be in my heart.
She made me feel at home when I went with Denise to visit. Sweet soul lady. ❤️
Ma taught me how to use a cast iron skillet to make hot sauce and opened my eyes to barely frozen soda.
