Just heard about Larry's passing. Stayed with Phil Grimes and me at one time. Great
guy smart, funny, and a fabulous athlete. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.
I had the Privilege of being a close friend, classmate, and teammate of Larry. We had the experience of sharing a chance of playing college football together. We have laughed about it for many years. Great man!
I thought the world of Larry. I and another friend, Billie Kingston, worked at the McLean Care Center, every weekend and we all enjoyed visiting with each other. Billie and I volunteered by trimming and/or painting fingernails for the residents. I had not seen Larry since COVID hit in early 2020. I am deeply sorry about his passing. He talked frequently about his daughter and grandson and showed us new pictures when he got them. He was a great guy and I will miss truly him. RIP my friend.
