MEMORIAL SERVICES - 2:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2013 at Red Marble Ministries (the former First Christian Church) in Memphis with Rev. Dale Miller, Pastor, officiating.

Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis, 1644 North 18th Street in Memphis.

Buddy Shipp was born June 22, 1944 in Rotan, Texas to Vollie and Sarah Reynolds Shipp. He was a cowboy at heart. He rode bulls, broncs, roped calves, and was a cattleman his whole life. He was a very sweet man and helped many people he knew. He was loved by many, and was a loving father the best friend. Buddy had been a resident of Memphis since 1991. He married Trista Lynn Ford Shipp on September 1, 1999.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his loving wife, Trista, on September 11, 2012; his parents; 2 brothers, Charles and Delbert Shipp; and his sister, Judy Shipp Adkins.

SURVIVORS – 3 sons, John Shipp of Rotan, Sidney Shipp and wife Lisa of Colorado, and Joe Don Shipp of Memphis; his daughter, Becky Shipp and husband Jeffery, of Memphis; 2 step sons, Shawn Bright and Dawn, of Dalhart, and Dallas Moore and wife Elizabeth, of Lelia Lake; 2 step daughters, Tylena Horton and husband John, of Hendersonville, TN, and Holly McClesky and husband Willie, of Hedley; his brother, Dean Shipp and wife Carolyn, of Friona; his sister-in-law, Edith Shipp, of Seminole; 6 grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
